Duties and Responsibilities include the following: • Manage all aspects of the general ledger using QB Financials, including maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts. • Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end accruals. • Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Responsible for a wide range of accounting and reporting functions. • Perform frequent special projects, including accounting and tax research and analysis for new transactions and implementation of new accounting standards. • Implement internal control procedures to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiencies. • Identify and implement new accounting policies and procedures as needed. Education/Credentials/ Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • Experience with Accounting Software conversion preferred. • QuickBooks experience. • MS Office (Excel) proficiency. • Recent, continuous Accounting experience required: 3-5 years, minimum.
