The Mobile Film School (MFS) is a highly collaborative, multi-disciplined digital media arts program based in Austin, Texas. Administered and led by known professionals in the field, MFS takes filmmaking education on the road, bringing comprehensive filmmaking education to communities that currently have little or no access to it, focusing on rural and underserved communities. Offering a wide variety of media arts programming, MFS will help foster future filmmakers who, frame by frame, will contribute to America’s rich cinematic and cultural tradition.

The Mobile Film School needs an interactive website designed to foster ongoing learning, networking and apprentice opportunities for our growing network of students and industry professionals. Our goal is for MFS’s students, faculty, alumni and staff to stay connected beyond our community workshops via our website; where they can access the school’s growing online resources, and contribute to meaningful dialogue on filmmaking and media arts technologies. For more info about MFS, see http://www.mobilefilmschool.org

This position would be administered through AmeriCorps but would take place at the Mobile Film School in East Austin.
