Learners Online, Inc. is a Dallas-based educational publisher specializing in
and developing e-learning systems which provide teachers with an
integratedenvironment for exploring and utilizing online historical information
andprimary and secondary sources, then transforming that content into
comprehensive classroom assignments. Additionally, the systems supply
interactive web-based student lessons across subject areas and grade levels.
We need writers with extensive experience with South African history and world history from a South African perspective. Candidates need excellent writing skills, subject matter expertise, and a passion for Web-based instruction.
Description
In this position, you will apply your advanced online search
strategies to locate the best web resources related to a specific lesson topic (with
anemphasis on rich media and primary sources). You will then use our
lessonbuilder application to write and develop an engaging lesson --
including assessment -- and a comprehensive instructor's guide.
Ideal applicants will have a demonstrated mastery of the Internet
and searchstrategies, proven writing skills, an advanced degree in Education,
or specific field of study.
This is a part-time freelance position. All rights to the lessonsyou create
will be assigned to Learners Online, Inc. Writers are paid on a per-lesson basis, not an hourly basis. That
can work in your favor if you're fast, so long as the quality remains high.
