1989 - I walked into a place called MusicMania and sold a roll of German concert posters from the 70s...for $200.00. Now I want some of them back. I know this is a longshot, but I'm holding out hopes that someone here in Austin bought those things and still has them and wants to make some money. So, here are the ones that I'm looking for: 1. Pink Floyd 1972 - Horizontal poster. Probably from Frankfurt - White poster with Pink floyd across the top and a picture of the four members of the band at the bottom. All printed in brown-ish ink. Specific date and show information is set between the two central figures. 2. Pink Floyd (date ?) - Horizontal poster. Same image of the band at the bottom except instead of the background being white, the background is a scene of the Pyramids and the whole poster is tinted green (I think). 3. Black Sabbath 1973 - Not sure if this one is Horizontal or Vertical. I think it's a white background with an image of the four members of the band stripped out. Don't remember much more than that. Show info. is printed somewhere on the poster. I think the whole poster is black and white. 4. Grand Funk Railroad 1971 - Vertical poster. Big photo of a toy train runs vertically. Top says "Heavy Rock in Concert." Show info. below that. 5. Santana 1972 - Vertical Poster. Santana in concert across the top. Handcolored photo of a big butterfly with nails through it's wings. Concert info small at bottom. All posters are roughly 24" x 33". Write back if you've got them or any other German concert posters from '69 - '76, and let's talk. I've got a few to trade if interested. Thanks.
It is NOT ok to contact this poster with commercial interests.
