I host a weekly half-hour interview show on KOOP 91.7 FM and I am looking for guests for the show. I focus on "everyday people with extraordinary stories" and I aim to go in depth to really learn about who you are, what you do, and why you do it. If you have an extraordinary story, please contact me.
What qualifies as an extraordinary story? It could be some amazing accomplishment, an unusual job or hobby, or a unique/odd experience that you've had. It could also be a mental illness or extreme copying mechanism. Examples of guests I've had include: transgendered person, anorexic, convict in prison for DWI, competitive eater, had near-death experience, someone with only 1 leg, a dwarf, victim of sexual abuse, guy who ran 63 marathons in 63 days, and many more.
Guests I'd love to have on the show include (but are NOT limited to): porn star, freegan, drag queen, someone with AIDs, bulimic, people who've been in prison for various reasons, etc. I can't even begin to think of all the possibilities, so if you think you've got a great story to tell, let me know about it!
