We are looking for a summer intern for our multimedia lab in Austin. We are a large semiconductor company.
We are looking for someone pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. Our lab designs evaluation systems for new audio/video integrated circuits.
We have several high profile projects for our summer interns, including the design of a digital audio system for use in the evaluation of new audio ICs. The ideal candidate will design and build the hardware and software for this project (possibly with a team of interns and design engineers).
It is a great learning experience to learn the ins and outs of doing a design project and working in a lab. This internship depends highly on the ability of the candidate to work independently, creatively, and with high technical skill.
A big plus would be:
- knowledge of digital audio systems
- LabVIEW experience
- PCB design experience
