Our established, eleven-year-old and profitable web-based marketing company
is looking for a self-starter web applications developer to help develop and
scale a major Web 2.0 Community / Social Networking Site.This role
requires deep technical expertise, passion, creativity, vision, and
excellent communication skills.We are more interested in a personšs
successful track record of effective problem solving and first-hand
experience dealing with the some of the unique challenges inherent to
scaling a high-growth Social Networking Site: specifically, wešre interested
in previous experience scaling a high-volume website where all the data is
interrelated.
Requirements:
* 4+ years experience in the design and development of complex, web-based
data systems and services focusing on scalability and high performance
* Required web development skills include Drupal experience, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and understanding of browser compatibility issues.
* Experience in both transactional and analytical environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* A strong plus if you have experience creating applications like popular
SNS sites like Yelp, Kaboodle, TeamSugar, , MySpace, etc.

* Must be a flexible self-starter who can adapt to a growing and evolving
team: Strong self-motivation essential
* Excellent work ethic, dependable, and responsible
