This is a 14' 1956 Dunphy Imperial Grayling with a Mercury 78a motor with aproximately 70 hp . The boat has been 98% restored and looks great. The wood is solid, sealed with spar urathane and ready for the water. The motor has been serviced and cleaned, but not yet "detailed" to showroom finish. I have been told the motor is the 1959 model The finish on the motor has been buffed and looks fantastic- especially considering it is 49 years old. An additional note about the motor, this motor is the cousin of the motor that attatched to a skiff and actually held the speed record for a while for an outboard motor back around 1957 (Model 75A) so if you are interested in this boat being a runner, then you wont be disappointed. The marine grade vinyl on the seats is over new cushioning but the original plywood backing so it fits perfectly. The upholstery and trimfollows the original design of the boat. After extensive legwork and research the title is now in my name clean and clear for the boat, trailer, and motor. The boat looks great and is absolutely a head turner as it is. If you wanted to detail out the motor...this boat would be ready for boat show season and competition.
